Rompetrol Downstream, the retail division of Rompetrol Group, renews its range of premium products by launching EfixS, a premium gasoline and diesel oil, starting with mid-November.
The new products replace Alto fuels, thereby increasing Efix product family - the best known fuel brand on the Romanian fuel market, according to a market study conducted recently.
"By EfixS, we address the drivers who want a maximum engine performance and, at the same time, an optimal functioning. In addition to Efix brand's innovative features, Efix S products benefit from the quality of fuels produced in Petromidia refinery, exclusively at Euro 5 standard, following the recently completed upgrading program," says Titov Buzescu, CEO of Rompetrol Downstream.
EfixS provides increased vehicle performance, efficiency and reliability of the engine, due to Keropur additive. In addition, it contains a mixture of active components for engine protection, ensuring its proper functioning.
With a high octane level, EfixS 98 gasoline allows a fast engine response under demanding conditions - overtaking, climbing slopes and large loads. By the high degree of purity, it ensures complete combustion, a high calorific value and implicitly a reduction of engine wear.
EfixS Diesel 55 allows a stronger internal combustion, which results in more efficient combustion process of the fuel. Thus, diesel engines consume less fuel while offering more power.
Tests performed on different capacity engines and marketed by distinct producers have confirmed the special qualities of the new Efix S*:
• The right amount of additives ensures an increase of engine efficiency by 9% and an improvement by 6.5 of the level of acceleration.
• Due to the particular detergent in its composition, Efix S removes deposits from injectors by 13%, even from the first filling. A continuous use of this type of fuel leads to complete cleaning;
• The active components help remove calamine deposits - a residue derived from the combustion of fuel in an internal combustion engine and keeps the system made of injectors, valves and combustion chamber clean. Tests on two types of engines have demonstrated the ability of the new fuel to clean new the calamine on the valves up to 57% and respectively, to maintain a clean system as a result of continuous usage of the product.
EfixS gasoline and diesel oil will be sold in 160 stations operated by Rompetrol Downstream (own and partner stations), including in stations owned by Rompetrol Moldova and Bulgaria.
Launched by Rompetrol Group in 2006, Efix was the first fuel brand which offered complete engine protection to the consumers. By the special additives contained, Efix offered unique benefits to the consumers: cleaning of valves, injectors and valves, therefore a longer engine life, but also low maintenance costs of the car.
Rompetrol Group's retail activities are supported by more than 1.100 fuel distribution stations owned and operated in countries like Romania, Georgia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine, France and Spain.
In Romania, the company operates over 760 fuel distribution points, i.e. own stations, Rompetrol Partner, Expres mobile stations and Fill & Go Fixed Unit stations of 9 and 20cbm. In addition, Rompetrol Group has 230 LPG filling stations, 10,000 distribution points and 3 cylinder LPG filling stations in Constanţa, Arad and Bacău, with a total capacity of filling 60,000 tons of LPG per year.
*The tests conducted took into account a whole range of variables including the type of vehicle, operating temperature, type of lubricants and driving style. The tests were conducted both in laboratory and in real traffic conditions.
