Bucharest - 24 octombrie 2012 - During the conference "Difficult issues of Civil Law problems", held in Bucharest on 28-29 September 2012, Cristian Bogaru, of BWSP Hammond, Bogaru & Associates (HBA), spoke on the topic "Fiduciary - practical applications."

Cristian Bogaru spoke about of the new identified fiducially practice implemented through the current Romanian legislation and obstacles in the practical application of fiduciary institution in Romania.

The new concept introduced by the Civil Code in 2011, aroused curiosity and interest of the audience.

Under the new Civil Code, fiduciary involves the temporary transfer of property rights, present or future, from a person or entity to another person.

Similarly to the law of other states, in Romania the fiduciary system can be used to achieve the management of property, the transfer of property rights of a person to another person or to secure a debt.

The Romanian legislation could bring many practical advantages for trusts as banking services expand.
