Popovici Niţu & Asociaţii advised Eolenvest on the acquisition of three wind farms

Bucharest - 12 ianuarie 2012 - Popovici Niţu & Asociaţii advised Eolenvest on the acquisition of Wind Energy Power Trade, Wind Energy Advance Tech and Wind Energy Strategy, three wind farms located in Braila, southeastern Romania, with a total projected capacity exceeding 400 MW.

The Popovici Niţu & Asociaţii 5-lawyer team was led by Senior Partner Ernest-Virgil Popovici.

Eolenvest is a company controlled by French group Filasa International, the largest French investor on the renewable energy field in Romania.

This is a new significant project started by Filasa International after its announced investment (in November 2011) in a 516 MW wind farm project located in Suceava.
