In 2010, Stratula Mocanu & Asociatii represented clients in dispute resolution procedures worth over Euro 100 million, according to an analysis performed by the law firm’s representatives in January 2010. This statistic takes into consideration only payment claims, and does not include the patrimonial disputes, other than direct money claims.
“The main claim categories in which we assisted and represented clients in 2010 were commercial disputes, adding up to approximately Euro 52 million, administrative disputes, in an attempt to recover from various public authorities a total of over Euro 34 million, as well as insolvency procedures, with an aggregate value of the receivables of about Euro 14 million. We have witnessed an increase of the latter, and consequently, an increase of the receivables involved in insolvency procedures” observes Sorin Stratula, managing partner of Stratula Mocanu & Asociatii.
