Solutia WIBAS ™ G5, opereaza in benzile de frecvență de 24,25-29,5 GHz furnizand o viteza de transfer per abonat care depășește 550 Mbps, in conditiile utilizarii de canale radio de 100 MHz lățime. Folosind largimi ale canalului de de 2x100 MHz, fiecare abonat va avea posibilitatea de avea o viteza de nivel Gigabit in transfer de tip downlink precum si o viteza de 500 Mbps în transfer de tip uplink.
Bazat pe cea mai avansată tehnologie de pe piață, sistemul radio WiBAS ™ G5 evo-BS, are o flexibilitate ridicata in implementari, fiind capabil de a asigura o conectivitate de nivel inalt intr-o arie de acoperire larga, suportand in acelasi timp integrarea cu o varietate de antene sectoriale de 90° și 180°, ajungand chiar pana la un nivel de acoperire completa de 360°. Datorită dimensiunilor compacte, această stație de bază PtMP nu necesită existenta unor infrastructuri de telecomunicații complexe pentru instalare. În același timp, noul WiBAS ™ G5 Connect + este o stație de tip terminal, avansată si remarcabil de ușor de instalat, potrivita in special pentru operatorii care doresc să evite situatiile complicate, dar au totodata nevoie de un echipament hardware de înaltă calitate. Mai mult, prin intermediul modulului uniMS ™ SON Gateway a platformei de management uniMS a Intracom Telecom, orice nou terminal poate fi integrat în rețea cu un efort minim. Serviciile de planificare ale retelei pot fi facute prin intermediul modulului de planificare radio din cadrul sistemului uniMS ™, iar ciclul de viață total al retelei poate fi gestionat prin intermediul versiunii 8 al aceluiasi sistem de management uniMS ™. Aceste sisteme noi de comunicatii radio au fost prezentate in premiera cu ocazia expozitiei MWC Los Angeles 2019.
