According to leading UK legal magazine The Lawyer, Schoenherr is the Law firm of the year for Central Europe. Praised for its anti-cycle strategy and bold move into challenging markets as the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, Schoenherr received the award for Central Europe at the The Lawyer European Awards in Barcelona.
In addition to praise for its regional strategy Schoenherr came highly commended in the awards category for Austria. Schoenherr was short-listed in four categories, which included in addition to above, Law firm of the Year for Eastern Europe & the Balkans and Best Overseas Office (Bucharest).
The Lawyer is the leading UK-based magazine reporting weekly on the developments on the global legal markets. In the UK, The Lawyer Awards have been the industry's benchmark of quality for more than a decade. This year the magazine introduced a Euro-pean counterpart reflecting the growing importance of law firms on the continent. Submissions of European firms were judged by panel made up of seasoned managing partners and in-house law-yers at FTSE 100 companies.
