Wirecard launches solution for payment and access via digital wearable and card transactions in Central and Eastern Europe

The closed-loop solution is ideal for companies organizing events, malls or any other closed-user groups 

First case in the Smart Business Center in Graz

Aschheim (Munich). Wirecard, the leading international provider of digital financial technology, is launching its multi-industry payment and access solution in Central and Eastern Europe. Companies, malls and stadiums can now make use of the simple, fast and secure way to upload and spend money in real time. Moreover, it is possible to integrate the payment solution directly into the till systems at the POS (Point of Sale).

Graz’s Smart Business Center is the first to take advantage of the digital closed-loop solution that is individually branded with the Center’s design. Within seconds, users can pick and top up the card at any info point or via the internet for daily food purchases with just a tap. Being one of the leading Smart Cities in Austria, the city of Graz is encouraging this project to improve further digitalization and to increase the level of business intelligence in the region.
