The Bucharest office of Central European law firm Schoenherr has opened a communications, media and technology desk. Hiring Adriana Radu, former head of the legal department of SBS Broadcasting Media (part of ProSiebenSat1 Group), enhances Schoenherr's ability to better service its clients active in these industries.

Adriana Radu has rich experience in broadcasting and digital media, communications infrastructure, communications regulation and sector reform, film and television production and distribution, information technology, marketing, sponsorship and advertising, music, and intellectual property. She has coordinated various projects, including the taking over of TVK Lumea and Mix FM radio network, the acquisition of a radio network in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the merger and integration of the Romanian subsidiaries of SBS Broadcasting Group within ProSiebenSat1 Group. Adriana Radu has also been actively involved in drafting of media industry proposals on the transposition of the AVMS Directive and transition from analogue to digital broadcasting.
Adriana is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest (2002) and of the Executive MBA Program of Asebuss Bucharest & Kennesaw State University Atlanta, Georgia (2008).
