Cargus is a Superbrand in Romania, claims independent market survey

  • The courier company has been validated as a Superbrand in Romania and recognized as a powerful leading brand within the sixth Romania’s Superbrands Programme for 2013 in the “Transportation and Courier” category - internal courier services

  • The award reflects the opinion of 1.500 Romanian consumers surveyed by Ipsos for Superbrands Romania

  • Cargus introduced this May a new logo, visual identity and new slogan


 

Bucharest, November 5, 2013. For the first time in its 22 year history, Cargus, one or Romania’s leading courier companies, has qualified as a Romanian Superbrand. The validation comes after an extended survey made by Ipsos for Superbrands Romania targeting 1.500 Romanian consumers.

 

The brands included in the research – approximately 1.400 - were evaluated on criteria such as trust, quality and distinction in the market. Following the survey, almost 300 brands were identified as eligible for the Superbrands status in Romania, with Cargus among the laureates of the “Transportation and Courier” category - internal courier services.

 

Nadia Homoc, Cargus Commercial Director, underlines the importance of the Cargus brand validation by the Superbrands Programme:

“Being part of this group is a crucial step for our business, as the assessment is made based on consumers’ feedback. We’ve set out ambitious plans at the beginning of the year and building an even stronger Cargus brand is among our priorities. We’re happy to see we are on the right path. “

The Superbrands validation comes after one of the most important periods in Cargus’ history. The company has made major investments, approximately 4 million euro for fleet renewal, upgrading IT infrastructure and communication software, and has introduced a new visual identity, including a new logo, slogan and website.
