The red carpet, lights and cameras are on for tonight. Brasov and the world are witnessing history in the making. The most important and renowned nonviolent film festival in the world, Brasov International Film Festival & Market opens today with a much anticipated Gala Evening. For eleven nights, the city is on fire.
Celebrities, national and international personalities are descending on the city below the Carpatian Mountains, Brasov, the new international Film Production center in Europe. Famed Romanian actress, Clara Voda, is attending. American actors, Roget Ellis and Sophia Gilberto are present. Internationally emerging Romanian actress, Denisa Barvon is here.
Internationally awarded film director Bruno Pischiutta and actress Aida Vondeth will introduce Daria Trifu, the Festival's director, who will open the second edition of Brasov International Film Festival & Market. While the Festival guests are enjoying their dinner at the five star Aro Palace Hotel, the evening will commence with a parade of soldiers in renaissance costumes and weapons followed by musicians who will perform renaissance tunes inaugurating the opening of the event. The participation of the soldiers has been obtained in collaboration with the Consiliul Judetean Brasov (Brasov Province Council). The special 2013 edition of DARIA! magazine has been published. This is a bilingual (English/Romanian) edition of DARIA! that has been produced for the Brasov International Film Festival & Market 2013. It is being distributed everywhere in Brasov during the Festival and it will be distributed worldwide for one year at different film festivals and special events. DARIA! is a coffee-table (glossy cover), very elegant, arts, entertainment and business magazine.
