DLA Piper’s office in Bucharest assisted Szallas Group, part of Wirtualna Polska Holding, in successfully signing the agreement to acquire Litoralulromanesc.ro travel agency, marking the largest transaction in the Romanian tourism market to date. The deal, valued at over EUR21 million, was expertly facilitated by DLA Piper’s Bucharest office.
The DLA Piper team, led by Senior Associate Bogdan Buta and overseen by Country Managing Partner Marian Dinu and Partner Paula Corban, provided comprehensive legal support throughout the acquisition process. Key assistance on merger filing and foreign direct investment was delivered by Counsel Răzvan Pele and Managing Associate Cristi Porojanu, while several other team members contributed to the thorough due diligence process.
