About Executive Chef Nicolai Schleifer

Executive Chef Schleifer who is born in Germany, has always been fascinated by the art of culinary, which has defined his career. He has 20 years experience in the hospitality and restaurant industries at various international locations such as Germany, Malta, Tanzania, Egypt or United Arab Emirates.

His expertise on international cuisines together with a true passion for the culinary arts and new culinary trends will bring the Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest guest’s dining experience to the next level.

Executive Chef Schleifer holds a bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and a Master in Culinary Arts, specializing in the area of hospitality/tourism in hotel and restaurant management, with an emphasis on culinary arts. Over the last 20 years, he has worked in the hotels such as Danat Al Ain Resort/Al Ain, Kempinski Hotel Ajman – UAE; Kempinski San Lawrenz – Gozo Malta; Kilimanjaro Hotel Kempinski/Dar es Salaam – Tanzania or Kempinski Hotel Airport München – Germany. 

In addition to his education and experience, Executive Chef  Nicolai Schleifer has been active in the voluntary service being a member of the examination board in the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Munich and Oberbayern.

"I'm looking forward to start this new chapter of my culinary journey," adds Executive Chef Nicolai Schleifer. "I'm happy that my skills will be put to use in such an outstanding location and I am excited to work in the largest hotel in Bucharest together with a strong and experienced team” 

One of his favourite dish is Beer Marinated Pork Tenderloin with Rye Spaetzle, beer pickled vegetables and mustard jus. Prepared with meat from Mangaliza pork, the dish satisfies even the most demanding tastes.

The 9th edition will take place between the 18th and 23rd of September (from Monday to Saturday) starting at 18:00 until 23:00 o’clock. 

The cost is 130 lei per person, entrance fee and buffet. A 10% discount is available for groups with more than 20 attendees.
